About the Film
After Life is about what happens when you survive something you weren't supposed to.
Nia is learning how to live without her husband. Xavier is stuck replaying the night he couldn't save someone. When they meet in therapy, there's a connection neither of them expects — and neither of them fully understands.
As they get closer, the truth starts to surface. And what felt like healing begins to look a lot more complicated.
At its core, this is a story about grief, guilt, and the kind of love that shows up after everything falls apart.
